Further Information

Our 'wrap around' care package at Brompton Hall School offers all pupils a keyworker and regular key working meetings.

Alongside this support the pupils are offered regular access to an Independent Advocacy Service. This service offers pupils the opportunity to speak with someone confidentially that is independent to the school.

There is a Parent Support Advisor attached to the school for additional family support if, after assessment, it is deemed necessary, as well as our Placement Support Officer who is employed directly by the school to provide additional support for pupils / parents & carers.

The Residential team work within a multi disciplinary framework having regular contact with Health Agencies, Children’s Social Care and CAMHS.

School Council

Our school operates a very successful school council made up of representatives from each of the four units; unit forums are held in order to discuss any topics relevant to life within a residential school. This provides all pupils a voice to express their ideas, opinions and concerns and encourages them to buy into and invest in their education.

Pupils are encouraged to discuss issues such as:

  • Activities
  • Trips and Visits
  • Equipment
  • Rewards and Sanctions
  • Food
  • Health
  • Bullying

The School Council Representatives also form part of a bullying committee to enable a whole school approach. We work hard to promote Anti bullying in a positive way which in turn keeps any bullying incidents minimal.
