Shout

Operates 24/7 and connects people in need to trained volunteers who provide help at a time when it is most needed; enabling them to move from a moment of crisis to a calm state and form a plan for next steps to find longer-term support.

Teenage Cancer Trust

Around seven young people aged between 13 and 24 are diagnosed with cancer every day in the UK. They need expert treatment and support from the moment they hear the word ‘cancer.’ We’re the only charity dedicated to making this happen.

Youngminds

We’re leading the fight for a future where all young minds are supported and empowered, whatever the challenges.

Compass Buzz

We work with North Yorkshire schools to increase the skills, confidence and competence of staff dealing with children’s emotional and mental health concerns through delivery of tiered training sessions and professional consultations, expert advice and guidance.

MIND

We provide advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem. We campaign to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding. We won't give up until everyone experiencing a mental health problem gets support and respect.

Samaritans

Every six seconds, somebody contacts us. Ten times a minute, we can help someone turn their life around. That’s a privilege, and a huge responsibility.

NYAS

We provide advocacy and legal representation to children and vulnerable adults when important decisions are being made about them. The children and young people NYAS work with might be in care, have a disability or special needs, be subject to child protection plans, have mental health difficulties or their parents might be separating.
